The greatest part of this market is the landlord. I have spent many years talking to landlords who (with help) have created the biggest phenomenon in UK property ownership ie. the ability to own more than one property with little restrictions.
Buy To Let is truly an opportunity to make substantial income/capital but you must be well aware of all its pitfalls.
As an entrepreneur I know that any road to success is a difficult one and takes time, money, energy and wit.

You must question it before you enter it, it is only with questioning that you will truly understand it.
If you question in the right manner it should not cost you a penny. That is...it shouldn't cost you a penny to decide whether its right for you. Don't rely on expensive seminars to gain your knowledge...the web is by far the greatest encyclopedia and its mostly free.

How much time do you have?
From your answer I would then be able to predict (within reason) how successful you would be.
I personally do not believe a 'get rich quick' option exists. It takes TIME to know your market and the more TIME you devote the more you will learn to make your TIME more effective. The result should be a very profitable business.
